Amazing tracking and 20 day battery life

US-based wearable technology company Amazfit has introduced the new Amazfit Arc, a new heart rate, activity and sleep tracker that can follow a user’s progress in real-time. The Amazfit Arc features a scratch-resistant OLED touchscreen and a 20-day battery life for an introductory price of $49.99.
The Arc joins the recently announced, ceramic-based Moonbeam and Equator wearables by the company, which are the slimmest and most lightweight activity trackers on the market today. All the three products make high-quality, stylish wearables more widely available due to their significantly lower price points compared to current market options.
With the new Amazfit Arc, users can follow their progress in real-time, stay motivated and meet their health goals by tracking activity, distance travelled, calories burned, heart rate, and sleep quality. The Arc companion app provides further insight into advanced sleep quality analysis, and also offers the ability to customise display settings. Users can also stay connected by receiving phone call and message notifications via vibration alert.
The Arc has a 0.42 inch UV coated and scratch resistant OLED display allows for instant access to the time, step count, distance travelled, calories burned, heart rate and battery status, without the need for phone access. Moreover, the new optimised 20-day battery life addresses one of the primary barriers of continued use with a power-efficient optical heart rate sensor (PPG) and accelerometer.
The Arc is claimed to have water and dust resistance rating of IP67, which means that the user can use it while having a shower, washing the dishes, playing with the kids in the dirt, or during other everyday activities.
Amazfit claims to be the world’s second largest wearables manufacturer; those questioning it would be wise to note that Amazfit is owned by Huami and is the exclusive provider of wearable technology for Xiaomi, who was ranked second in wearables vendors according to IDC’s analysis back in May
